DelCafe - Coffee with a Mission!

DelCafe is what we call our social outreach programs. We are a family of Texas Aggies devoted to helping kids and families living in poverty conditions in several Mayan villages neighboring our coffee farm, Xejuyu Farm in El Tejar, Guatemala.

Xejuyu (shay-who-you) means “at the base of the mountain” in Kakchiquel Mayan language

For the past 7 years, we have been coordinating and leading group trips and mission trips for Texas A&M University students, as well as service trips for the A&M Garden Club, families, and community members from the USA who want to visit Guatemala and include service programs as part of their trip. We serve kids and families from five Mayan villages surrounding our coffee farm, who welcome our groups with open arms.

We can help coordinate your family or group trip! You will enjoy staying at our beautiful Mountain Lodge, eating delicious farm-to-table meals, learning about coffee production, taking day trips to the colonial city of Antigua or surrounding towns, enjoying nature, and doing good!

Our coffee farm is nestled in the central Guatemalan highlands. We have dorms and private rooms available; shuttle buses; a beautiful outdoor chapel; a dining hall; ponds, trails, and peaceful gardens. We help coordinate all logistics from the moment your group arrives at the Guatemala City airport to the moment you depart with wonderful memories. We conduct activities both in villages and at our farm. We would be delighted to work with you to coordinate your next voluntourism trip!
